Maria Lobato

Licensed Associate Counselor

As a wife of more than 25 years and mother who raised two daughters into adulthood, Maria understands both the joys and challenges that come with parenting. She homeschooled her daughters for nearly their entire school years, giving her firsthand experience navigating childhood development, learning differences, emotional growth, and the unique pressures families face throughout each stage of life.

For more than two decades, Maria also volunteered extensively with children and families, where she discovered a deep passion for helping young people feel understood, supported, and emotionally healthy. Those experiences eventually inspired her to pursue a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling so she could serve children and families in a professional counseling role.

Today, Maria specializes in working with children, adolescents, and teens ages 5–17. She believes every child has a unique story and strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where young people can express themselves, develop healthy coping skills, build confidence, and strengthen their relationships with those who matter most.

Maria partners closely with parents, recognizing that lasting change happens when families work together. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, behavioral concerns, school-related stress, or life transitions, her goal is to help them develop the tools and resilience needed to thrive.
